January 24th, 2019 To whom it may concern, My mother was sent home from your nursing rehabilitation center on Sunday January 13th. She is in need of 24/7 care. She cannot move, she cannot walk. She is in a briefs and needs to be changed frequently. She did not have adequate enough care set up by the nursing facility. She was not provided the care she needed. She cant move, she cant eat, or drink. What if there was a fire? How was she supposed to get out? The next call I receive, is from the emergency room, asking me why my mother was found in soil, covered in fecal matter, severely dehydrated, now has a urinary tract infection, now has body ulcers that are now infected. Why wasn’t I taken seriously? Why on Earth would a place send a patient home to this situation??? Amber promised me that she was going to be safe. That she would ensure she was cared for. There was no one! NO ONE CAME TO CARE FOR HER ALL WEEK! SHE LAID IN FILTH WITHOUT FOOD OR DRINK FOR A WEEK! I am appalled by the services provided. She went there with a broken shoulder. She could walk, she could care for herself when she arrived. Now she has left your facility unable to even move, with pneumonia and the flu! You kept telling her she wasn't ready, wasn't ready, wasn't ready; and as soon as her Medicaid runs out you do this to her??? Does this sound to you like the Christopher House did their job and duty with her well-being and best interests in mind? Amber has refused to return my calls. She called me last week and left a voicemail to ask how my mother was doing.... YOU TELL ME! Kindest Regards, Monica Almy

My mother was a resident and I can not thank the staff enough for their care and treatment. My mother passed away but the treatment the staff gave my family during the time of our loss was phenomenal. My mother was honored and was taken from the facility with a blanket that covered her except her face and it was touching. I just wish there were other facilities that pay that much attention to detail and how it is to have a loved one in a nursing facility. Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts. My mom stayed at Christopher House after having a total knee replacement. The staff were genuinely caring, friendly, and responsive to her. They became like a second family. I would recommend this rehabilitation center for anyone recovering from a surgery.
