Stepping Stones has proven to be a wonderful answer for our needs when my wife lost her short term memory due to a stroke. Because of her memory loss, she is always reluctant to be taken to Stepping Stones, concerned about being apart from me. But the minute she steps through the door and is greeted by name, by one of the superb staff, she breaks into a smile, and helps herself to a seat. That smile is still there every time I pick her up at the end of the day, even though she cannot remember much about the activities they provided that day.
