"We went to Home Care at Kettle's and toured it. They were nice. They have two or three beds in a room and one person can have his own room. It's all good. And the assistants and the help were all great, too. They had all the facilities. Everything was all right, but I was kind of new to this. The staff who gave the tour was excellent. Nothing negative. It was all good. There's plenty of help, too. I'll give them two thumbs up. They were good. The dining area was kind of small, and nobody was eating. As for amenities in the rooms, they had the set up for the toilet, the bars, and all safety equipment in place. But the room wasn't big, so it would be kind of close contact for people with walkers. They had an outside area where they could go. There's an outdoor patio area. That was pretty nice, too."

"My husband went from home to urgent care to emergency room to hospital to rehab to hospital to rehab (not a typo - hospital to rehab twice) to assisted living in a little over a month, a very confusing and difficult sequence of events for him. The staff at The Lodge at Palmer Point have remarkable skills for helping him learn to live in an assisted living setting. They are making adjustments daily as they work toward a comfortable routine for him. It is such a relief to me to know he is being taken care of by competent, caring people. Linda, the owner/administrator, is the epitome of problem solving skills. In addition, she is empathetic and kind; an example of her kindness is that she has found someone to play cribbage with my husband. I appreciate the personal care my husband is getting in this residential setting with a small number of residents and an excellent staff. I am extraordinarily glad that there was a room available at The Lodge at Palmer Point when I needed one for my husband."

"The Retreat at Sunny Vista was very nice. From what I saw it was very good, that's why it's second on our list. It was very good, open, spacious, and bright. The rooms were very nice. The location was good. The reason why I like it was because it was set away from the hustle and bustle. I like the security and I like the layout. It's very accommodating. Across the street is the memory care. It goes right from one to the other, which I like."

"My wife was at The Center At Cordera and it was an excellent place. It was clean and modern. The rooms were also nice and clean. The staff were very helpful. They had activities and they were always there for the residents."

"I like Affinity at Colorado Springs. They don't have food, but they have housekeeping and they have elevators, which is a must. They have washers and dryers and step-in showers and these are all things that I need because my legs are bad. The layout of the room was standard. It's a nice layout. They didn't show me any activities because it was just coming out of COVID. They didn't really have any activities going at the time, but they have a lot of nice things to have activities like they have a pool room, which is a billiards kind of room, and then they have a separate building that has a heated pool in it. They have a wood shop, and they have a pub. It's very nice. The price was lower, but it wasn't for assisted living. I think it's just for independent living."

"I was able to visit Belcaro. I liked it, and it's nice. The 2-bedroom I wanted has a kitchen, a living room, there's a bay window, two bathrooms, and it has laundry in the apartment. The ambiance is very well-kept. It has little sitting rooms in several places in the hall, a lot of places where the residents meet, and it has a dog park, which I want. It has a walking trail, and it's fairly secluded. They have a bus and they take trips or go shopping"

My first stay was great. the doctor, therapy, and staff helped me heal better than before, so I came back again! They help me when I need help and the therapy is excellent!
