"My 90 yo Mom currently resides at Stonecreek of Flying Horse and has lived there since March. She loves it! The staff and management are very involved, attentive and lovely to work with. They had some major changes in leadership months ago and I would now highly recommend this facility for everyone!!!!"

"The one I toured and went back to a couple of times because I liked it so much was Liberty Heights. The set-ups in the rooms were unlike anybody else's. They're fabulous. Every unit is located on the side of a hill, and every unit has a view out of the Rocky Mountain and Pikes Peak, even the assisted living units, and they're all interconnected. The independent living unit has a closed-in double garage directly across the hall from the door to your unit. All the units are connected to each other. You could live there for years and never go outside if you wanted to, from your garage to your hallway, to the eating area, to everything. It's really unique and very nice Just like everyone else, they have everything you could want. They have a beauty and barber shop, a swimming pool, a workout place, a dining area, a small bar, and all kinds of stuff. The food looked fine, but I didn't eat there."

"We toured Winslow Court. Everything about it was better than all the rest. I mean, they seemed more caring. There was more socializing and the price is a factor. It's a better place than all the rest. They're set up for meals, so we like all that. They've got nice rooms and people seem to care a lot. The facility was clean and nice. The ones we looked at had a nice little kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. If we were to live with someone else there are two bedrooms and they're far apart from each other. The restaurant was set up nicely."

"The food at The Lodge at Palmer Point Residential Assisted Living was good. The facility was very clean and nice. When I walked in, there were people around and people to talk to. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's one giant mansion with eight tiny apartments. You can have assisted living, independent living, hospice, or nursing care. It's everything. If Mom progresses, I won't have to move her."

"We moved to Affinity at Colorado Springs. Inside my apartment there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a large bathroom where you can fit a wheelchair if needed, and it's equipped with a shower that has handrails. We have a washer, dryer, and large closet, and the main bedroom has ceiling fans. Additionally, there's a large refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in the kitchen, along with a bar where you can place some chairs. There's also a balcony or patio with outlets conveniently located throughout the space. They have a saltwater therapy pool and a Jacuzzi with a chairlift to assist in getting in and out of the pool. There's a workout area, a woodworking area, and a barbecue area with several tables. Every Thursday they host a social hour. They also provide a kitchen area downstairs that you can reserve for free if you want to have a birthday party for you and your family. They have a wood-burning pit area where you can sit around, burn wood, and chat in the evenings. They have large garages and covered ports. The staff is amazing. Two of the three gals in the front office run the happy hour, and they're fabulous, fun, and helpful. They provide all the information you need. I'm on the third floor, and there's a trash chute. They also have a dog grooming station and rooms that you can rent, similar to hotel rooms, in each of their facilities all across the United States."

"Our new manager, Bill, is very accomodating and helpful. I hope he stays for a very long time. "

"It has very nice staff, it seems like they go over and above. It doesn't have the feel of a corporate type place in both assisted and independent living. The rooms are very clean, they have the main living quarters and a bedroom, refrigerator, and stove. They have access to washing machines and they're served a meal at lunch that's catered in. My loved one said that the food is really good. And a lot of the times there would be enough that they can put in in their refrigerator and reheat for dinner. They have bingo, cards, they have a bus for outings, they'll also take him to his doctor appointments and shopping. They have a full list of activities on a sheet so that they can review it. They also have a sheet that tells them what kind of food is coming up for the next catered meal. The quality of care here was very good."

"I toured MacKenzie Place Colorado Springs. The place is relatively new. It's very clean. The staff seem to be very professional and mindful of the possible requirements people may need. They had a well-laid-out program for how people would be cared for in their facility. So I was very much impressed by it. They've got a miniature golf course, a swimming pool area, and they have a tennis court. It's a mixture of both indoor and outdoor activities. They also have a shuttle bus service that takes people to different areas during the week."

"The tour I had at The Inn at Garden Plaza went really well. The facility was very elegant. Amy was the person who took me on the tour, and she was very good and very thorough. It was a wonderful place, and the residents were very, very friendly and seemed happy. I asked a number of them how they felt about living there, and they all said they were really happy to live there. They had a lot of programs and a lot of activities that were interesting to me. I liked that they take them out on short hikes in the mountains. They also have a lot of exercise classes (some in the pool). The staff all seemed very competent. I also met a couple of the maintenance people. Their activities director was extremely good. They all seemed to know what they were doing and were friendly. The only drawback was the price. I looked at two rooms that they had open at the time. One was an empty 1-bedroom and the other one was a large studio. The difference between them was ten square feet, and the price between them was $600 a month difference."

"I have toured many places and Jackson Creek Senior Living is one of those that stand out. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about it, it was a beautiful facility and I was impressed by the staff. They have two different dining rooms, they have a room where a physical therapist comes in, and a doctor comes in and tours. There's a priest that comes and tours and does rounds in the rooms. So my mother's religious needs would have been attended to there. Everything about it I loved, and I would move there as well. I have not tried their food, but it smelled delicious. There's always something to do. They had a gym and a salon, they had an activities room, they have multiple community areas to come out and socialize, and they have tables where activities are set up. They had puzzles set out if you want to come out and work on them, and I've seen residents there doing that. I saw a 100-year-old woman wheel herself out of her room to come down, and she was sitting there working on a puzzle with three friends sitting around, and they're chit-chatting."
