We moved to Affinity at Colorado Springs. Inside my apartment there are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a large bathroom where you can fit a wheelchair if needed, and it's equipped with a shower that has handrails. We have a washer, dryer, and large closet, and the main bedroom has ceiling fans. Additionally, there's a large refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher in the kitchen, along with a bar where you can place some chairs. There's also a balcony or patio with outlets conveniently located throughout the space. They have a saltwater therapy pool and a Jacuzzi with a chairlift to assist in getting in and out of the pool. There's a workout area, a woodworking area, and a barbecue area with several tables. Every Thursday they host a social hour. They also provide a kitchen area downstairs that you can reserve for free if you want to have a birthday party for you and your family. They have a wood-burning pit area where you can sit around, burn wood, and chat in the evenings. They have large garages and covered ports. The staff is amazing. Two of the three gals in the front office run the happy hour, and they're fabulous, fun, and helpful. They provide all the information you need. I'm on the third floor, and there's a trash chute. They also have a dog grooming station and rooms that you can rent, similar to hotel rooms, in each of their facilities all across the United States.

I like Affinity at Colorado Springs. They don't have food, but they have housekeeping and they have elevators, which is a must. They have washers and dryers and step-in showers and these are all things that I need because my legs are bad. The layout of the room was standard. It's a nice layout. They didn't show me any activities because it was just coming out of COVID. They didn't really have any activities going at the time, but they have a lot of nice things to have activities like they have a pool room, which is a billiards kind of room, and then they have a separate building that has a heated pool in it. They have a wood shop, and they have a pub. It's very nice. The price was lower, but it wasn't for assisted living. I think it's just for independent living.

Affinity at Colorado Springs was beautiful, the people seemed friendly, and the accommodations were fabulous. The rooms were nice sized. They had a place where you could have a bit of a garden and that was nice. The staff was really nice and really helpful. They had a saltwater swimming pool and a hot tub and they had a whole calendar of activities and stuff. There are lots of things going on.

I will be moving into Affinity at Colorado Springs. What I liked about it are the people; there are lots of nice facilities, but people make a big difference to me and how I'm treated. The professionalism and the friendliness of the people that I met were exceptional, which makes a difference for me. There are lots of nice facilities. It was very clean, and very well kept up. It was bright and cheerful. It has the amenities I was looking for and more than that. They have a saltwater pool, and they have a woodworking shop. They have a game room, billiards room, and a dining room that you can have family guests in. They have a crafting room and a library with a fireplace. It's just a beautiful facility. They don't provide food; I did not want food service provided. I have a kitchen in my own room, it's wonderful, beautiful. I love the fact that it has a washer and dryer in my bathroom. That was wonderful. It has more than the kitchenette, it's a beautiful, full-sized kitchen. They've got a beautiful patio and a garden area. They've got huge patios that you can gather. They have a garden area fire pit. You can reserve all those areas. They were wonderful, I like them a lot.

My tour of Affinity at Colorado Springs was very good. It was handled very well by the leasing specialist. It's really the only place in Colorado Springs within my price range that was available, and I hope to make a wonderful home there. The staff was great. I saw all the amenities. I saw two apartments: One was a demo and one was empty. I saw one-bedroom and a two-bedroom. It's adult 55 and older senior living. Most of the activities are independently done. They have one happy hour a week and that's the only apartment sponsored activity that I'm aware of. They have a woodworking room, a craft room, a computer room, a pub, and a common room with a theater. One thing I like is they pay all the utilities and offer DirectTV and Wi-Fi throughout the building; it's all included in your rent. The tour was great.

The lease manager, Robin, returned my call within 5 minutes of me completing an online booking tour. I had to tour as my mother in law was moving from another state. She was friendly, and asked all our questions and explained how rent and amenities are included in the basic price and those things extra ( covered parking/garages) were additional cost. In this area, it is the most affordable independent living community, as I researched several, and even looked into apartments. This facility has many amenities, and the staff even try to do group activities as well. The maintenance staff is very responsive as well. This place and especially this staff made the move practically effortless.

I liked Affinity at Colorado Springs. The seniors there were not as mature, and they were definitely people who get around easier. They had different rooms to have different things going on, and it was very nice. The apartment was small, but that is OK since I am downsizing anyway. It had a nice size kitchen, and I was really surprised. It is a one-bedroom, that is what I am looking at, and is on the second floor, and it has a little patio, and I thought, "That is OK, just a little patio. I don't need a lot because I am all by myself." I was just talking to the staff member too, and she wanted to verify that everything worked out fine. She was very informational and very patient. We walked around and showed us where the exit doors were per floor. She showed us one bedroom on the second floor, and one bedroom on the first floor, and she showed us where the exit was. If I move, instead of blocking the total entry door, then it's best to use that side door, and she showed us which one it was, and I thought that was very helpful. Little things like that, it's good. It has a lot of amenities, like it has WiFi and cable. I have access to two cable boxes, so I still have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. She was thorough and wrote down a couple of things because I was asking her how long that one wall was, and she said she was going to email me that. The place was very clean. We could see the two different card rooms and the craft rooms and the bar room where you can mix drinks, but because of COVID it is closed right now.
