I would not recommend Aspen Meadows for anybody. It was dirty. When we toured it, they had food on the plates in the kitchen, and it wasn't cleaned up. The room was dingy and dirty, too. The manager could hardly speak English, so we couldn't understand what she was saying. The residents didn't look well kept, so it was pretty bad. It was mismanaged and disorganized. To me, they didn't know what they were doing. They showed me the shared room that my mom was going to have, and they told me that she could have a chair and a TV. However, I couldn't get in, and I could hardly turn around there. It had two beds, but there was no room for a chair or anything like that. Everything was run down. My mom had to have a walk-in shower, but all they had is a bathtub. The facility was not accommodating, and the price was more than what the base rate is for where she is now.
