The staff at Pacifica are wonderful. My mother was a resident for almost 5 years before she passed away. She loved all the staff. She appreciated the freedom she had there to be able to go outside and walk or sit and enjoy the sunshine. Her former memory care would not allow her out to walk but she could walk any time at Pacifica.

Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville was a nice place, but it wasn't a good fit for Mom. I liked it a lot. The one we looked at was a shared room. It's a little institutional and it didn't feel very warm.

We enjoyed viewing the Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville facility. The staff seemed very caring and knowledgeable. The amenities were clean, and it looked like it would be ideal for people aging. Though the rooms themselves were a tad small in my opinion, but I think it's ideal for someone who needs to be observed. What I feel is that they don't want the residents secluding themselves in their rooms. They kind of want them out in the community area so they can socialize. But it's ideal for sleeping, and getting a little bit of privacy. They were clean but not super spacious, which is okay. The common dining area was welcoming. It was clean, and there was a lot of natural lighting in there. I met some of the staff, and they all seemed very friendly. The grounds were clean and spacious. They had amenities for residents that might need help walking, there was a railing for them. There was a gardening area for residents that might want to partake in gardening or weeding or whatnot. It was really beautiful and clean. There was space for walking for those residents who need a little more physical activity but were still enclosed in a safe area. Some board games were going on in the individual communities because it's divided up based on need. I believe that there are 12 residents per house, or home, based on need. They offer other activities for the community to come in and partake in. So, there are some visits from outside groups that can come in, and it's just enrichment for the residents.

I toured Pacifica Senior Living of Vacaville. The coordinator, Rosa, was extremely nice. The facility was beautiful. The only problem I had with that is the rooms don't have private bathrooms, and that was the deal breaker. I had a conversation with a couple of residents who were doing an art project, and they were very much enjoying the teacher. They had a beauty stylist and a small TV room.

My mom is in Pacifica Senior Living of Vacaville for a year and a half now. It's adequate. However, my mom needed more attention. She just wasn't getting enough attention. The staff are nice, but I think they're understaffed. They haven't done much for my mother at all in terms of activities. That's been my main concern. There's no swimming pool but there is a courtyard. My mom has a private room with a sink. The toilet just opens up into the main room where the gathering room is and it's used by several of the residents. It's a common toilet, and then there's one shower per wing, and that's used by many of the residents. Also, my mom doesn't like their food. They need to improve the attention and the activities for their residents.

My mother is in Pacifica Senior Living Vacaville. I like the way they care for my mom. They try to keep her busy, and they feed her well. Everything I need for her is done here. From what I've seen, the food looks like it's healthy. They feed her three meals a day, and if she doesn't eat a meal, she'll request a snack and they'll give her that, so that makes up for it. The staff is pretty nice. They will answer all my questions and they will take care of my problems. The caregivers are very good to my mom. I like the way they're dedicated to their job here. For activities, they use a plastic stick and hang the balloon and stuff like that. My mom also plays the organ or the piano for them. They were supposed to take them on outings, but I guess they haven't done that because of this pandemic. They let her walk freely all around the campus. She goes to the different cottages. They just let her do whatever she wants. I think there are 15 people in each cottage and she has a room in one of the cottages. I've dealt with two different places. I would say the value for this place was better plus it was a gated community, which made it a better choice. The price is OK.
