Santa Paulan

The Santa Paulan was a plain old apartment building where you have to be 55 and older to live there. The problem was whoever owned it, kept switching out their employees, especially the managers. I probably went through a dozen managers for four years. So, it lost its appeal because it was getting worse and worse. They have a group activity room, a computer room, a gym room, and a pool. When you walk into my apartment door, you're right in the kitchen and then the living room. Then off to the side was the one bedroom and then the bathroom. I didn't do that much with them, but they used to have some parties and get-togethers. They also had community food stuff going on there. The value for the money was right on average. One thing that they had was it was conveniently located and they had good transportation there. They used to have bus service and they had community access to pick up and drop off when you needed something. So that's good.

What I like best about Santa Paulan Senior Apartments was probably the price and that it's in my hometown. It's got a pool. It's a big enough area and it's got enough parking. The staff who gave the tour was friendly. We just didn't like the whole application process that we went through, but she was friendly. They have their laundry on every floor. They have a little patio area. The apartment was big enough for what we needed. There's a kitchen and it's a complete apartment.
