I went to Sea Cliff Assisted Living. They were very nice, but it's a little too inconvenient. It's not near the freeway. It was clean. They had activities going on, which I love. Their activities were meeting the needs of a lot of different people. You could tell they were really focused on everyone having something to do every day. It was just a matter of Huntington Beach is a little inconvenient. It's great for me, but for my brothers, it's not good. The facility seemed very clean and well laid out, easy to navigate for those who have wheelchair or walkers. I was impressed with that. They are re-flooring, repainting, and refurbishing. I really didn't see the need though. It seems they really take it seriously to keep it fresh and clean. They're going to laminate the floor and put new paint before it really needed it, which is wonderful. The few residents I'd met there that were actually walking down the hall were pleasant. They seemed very nice and very friendly. They had a patio, and once you got in and walked around, there were some areas where people could be outside sitting. The manager was very nice, introduced himself, offered to give me a tour, made me feel at home, and showed me some of the rooms. He was really, really pleasant considering I did not have an appointment. I just walked in. The woman that was in the game room, as soon as she saw me, waved at me, and pleasantly let me know the manager would be with me in a few minutes. Then she went back to the guests. They were playing games at the time. She didn't make me stand there. She acknowledged me and greeted me. I just enjoyed watching her have fun with these people. The dining room was completely clean already. I got there a little after lunchtime. The hard part for me was when I arrived I didn't see any indication of parking lot. I literally had to drive all the way down the street, make a U-turn, come back, and wait for someone to leave. Fortunately, someone did. The street was full of parked cars. The facility was charming and friendly.

Sea Cliff Assisted Living was clean. The people were nice and friendly. The rooms were also very nice, but the patients we saw looked bad.

I went to Sea Cliff Assisted Living. The administrator I talked to was very friendly, very helpful, and showed us around. The place itself was nicely located, and it was a nice, medium-priced, and you got what you paid for in that medium-priced assisted living facility. The building is outdated; it could be cheerier in the paint. You could not have an electric wheelchair there. They only did manual wheelchairs. The administrator was very friendly, very efficient. He didn't know I was coming, but he handled it very well. He did a nice job showing us the facility and answering all my questions. They had a bus that would take their patients to where they needed to go. The place was clean, but most of the people were sitting inside, and they didn't seem to have a lot of amenities.

I looked at Sea Cliff Assisted Living. The tour was good, and I thought it was not a bad place. I just thought it was just too far. The area is not that good. It looked a little bit rundown. It wasn't bad for $3,000 because I was able to negotiate it. However, it wasn't that clean. The staff was good. I met the director, and he was friendly. I didn't have a good impression, but I was also desperate because a part of me wanted the least expensive. But then, Huntington Beach from where I am, is 45 minutes even on a good day, so that's a long-distance drive for me.

The people at Sea Cliff Assisted Living seemed to be happy and content. It was relatively clean. The room was relatively spacious. The individual that showed us the place to us was very attentive and courteous. They had a small library. I was just not very impressed with the menu.

My mom liked Sea Cliff Assisted Living for my dad. It was clean and orderly. The staff was attentive to the needs of the people living there, and they were able to answer every question that we had for any programs moving in, how they live, food, care, and medical, anything that we needed. They offer a variety of things, they said, but I didn't see all of them. They have a board with different things.
