My mom was at Dycora Transitional Health - Galt. The staff was phenomenal. The social services gal gave us tremendous information. They were wonderful and supportive. The care my mom received while she was there was excellent. The nurses and the nurse's aides were very, very concerned about the residents. They put different alarms on her wrists and they made sure she did not get out of the facility. It could have been a little cleaner and it would have been nice for her to have a better mattress, but the care she got was just phenomenal. They made her bathe at a certain point (she wanted her privacy), and they made her stay clean. I was so grateful for that. They were just as gentle and kind as could be, and stern. She was delighted that they had a great library. At first, she had her meals in her room and then they allowed her to have meals with other people in the dining room. It was very, very nice. They got her out, got her moving around, and made sure they gave everybody appropriate safe care and attention.
