My mother was at this assisted living facility for two and a half years - both she and I were very pleased with all aspects of Hallmark. (My mother had mid-stage Alzheimer's, diabetes, and other issues.) The staff was always warm & welcoming, as well as competent. The food was varied and simply great! I often joined my mother for dinner or holiday meals. Although COVID-19 put a damper on a lot of things, Hallmark usually provides live entertainment, games, and other activities. Church services of different types are held on the premises. A beauty salon is also on the premises. I greatly appreciated the genuine caring of the staff regarding sensitive & emotional issues. My mother thrived during her stay here.

We have found a community for both of my parents, and they are living in Hallmark of Bakersfield right now. The staff here is very good. We like them a lot. The rooms are very nice. They have a full bathroom and a little refrigerator. As for activities, they have something every day. They have exercise, bingo, entertainment comes in, and church on Sundays. It is a very active community. I had people that I know which had their family members here so I know it is a good choice.

Hallmark of Bakersfield is excellent all the way around. Good environment, the people are friendly, and they are very excellent caretakers. They have very good food and a really excellent cook. They have a lot of activities -- like they do parties for different holidays, and they have Bingo and other games, and a bus that takes them out. They do something every day. My friend really likes it there. She likes how the workers take time in helping and assisting her as well as the friendly atmosphere of the place.
