"Golden View Health Care Center was very nice. There wasn't anything I didn't like. They seemed to have a good staff. They didn't have any empty rooms, so all I could really do is kind of peek into a room that had somebody in it, and they looked good. The dining area was clean and spacious. The facility was very clean and well kept."

"The tour we had at Forest View Manor was good. It was a much smaller facility and it felt a little more homey. But the rooms were not apartments, it felt more like a dorm room. The common areas felt more homey. They were nice rooms but they were just very, very small. It wasn't like an apartment where if we were to come with our children, there was no seating area or living room. We'd have to be in a common area. The bedroom only fits a twin bed. The staff who assisted us was very good. They're under renovation right now, so everything was kind of in the middle of construction. I think it's going to be beautiful from what we saw. They had a small courtyard. I don't know how you access it and they didn't take us out to it. There was a small 3 season porch. But again, because they're going through renovations, we couldn't go out and see it because it was filled with old furniture."

"I went to look at Meredith Bay Colony Club. The administrator was really good. The location is great. The facility was nice. It felt very homey and welcoming. They were doing a really good job in regards to precautions with COVID. They required us to wear masks."

"I recently spent 80 days the staff was great very responsive to all of my request, I attended weekly meetings with social worker, heath care providers, physical therapist to discuss progress or lack of progress They arrange home care thru the VNA that included PHYSICAL THERAPY and Ocupational therapy and offered other services if needed My experience at Laconia Genisis was better than expected"

"We've been living in Sugar Hill Retirement Community for three and a half years. They have 19 two-story cottages, a main floor, and a lower level. All have two bedrooms, two baths, a nice kitchen, and a garage. They also have 40 apartments of varying size of one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms and an assisted living section. Meals are served every day in the evening only for the independent living people. We do lots of stuff like trips to the coast, museums, and local concerts. We also have a pool table, bocce, card games and parties. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and overlooks the largest lake in New Hampshire."

"We chose Peabody Home because I think their facility was a good fit for my father, and it was close to where we lived. It's in a small town. There are some restaurants and shopping there, but it's not in the city. The staff have been great. They are very attentive to my father's needs and our needs. He has a single room. It's large and bright with big windows that overlook the river. There was a nice community room. People are friendly. The other residents were also friendly. They have games. It was a good place to be. In memory care, their activities are more on puzzles and games like that. As far as amenities, there is just a courtyard, a little walking area, and a sitting area. There's a restaurant on the campus. There are places for haircuts, like a barbershop. There's PT and OT. It was a new facility. It was just built a few years ago so it's clean and updated. Being in the memory care, they kept them as busy as they could."
