My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimers, and my family's world was forever changed. Chenal Adult Day Center has been an answered prayer. It is a treasure in the Little Rock community. There are many stages of the disease process and the most impressive thing is at Chenal Adult Day Center, they meet each client where they are, from early stages to the later stages. Most importantly, at Chenal Adult Day Center, my mother is accepted for who she is. She is loved on, she is cared for, she is challenged. I have often pulled up to pick my mother up and waited to go in. There is a large window in the front. I have seen her smiling and interacting in ways like never before. If you are looking for a home away from home for your loved one, a caring and nurturing environment, this is it. I highly recommend you to utilize their trial program, where your loved one can see if it is a good fit for them free of cost. I did so, and I will never forget what my mom said as I picked her up that first day. "This is it. You did good. It's not like the other places. I want to come back. I can already tell this will be my home away from home." It is my prayer that more families discover what a blessing this center and its people are to the community.

I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful Chenal Adult Day center is!!!! We have been coming to the center for about six years with my mom and she loves it. She can't wait to come every morning. The people that work here are so very special and take such wonderful care of mom that they feel much more like family. They have activities and wonderful meals and they REALLY care about each and everyone of there people. They play lots of games and even do there nails. I really can't say enough to let you know how wonderful they are. I don't know what we would do with out them.!!!!

My mother attends this facility daily. She loves coming here. Its her family away from home. The staff is very caring and compassion.

For the past 6 years this has been my second home, and the staff my second family. Coming to Arkansas from out of state with no available support system I found myself lonely, sick, scared, and panic. Chenal Adult Day Center accepted me as I was and very knowingly offered what my own family couldn't give at the time. Chenal Adult Day Center is full of spirit, knowledge, attentive staff, laughter, good food, accepting of all our problems but with an underlying belief that life could become better with acceptance and change, and it most certainly has!
