On the first of March, I left the center after two weeks of care. I had an excellent experience there. The CNAs that cared for me, Sheila and Liz, treated me like I was their family member. They gave me respect and were always there for my needs. Emanuel and Victoria from the Cafe were excellent, also. Emanuel always gave me extra attention as if I was his own grandmother. When the CNAs were busy, he'd always roll me back to my room. That meant so much to me. Victoria, the Cafe manager, was always concerned about the needs and comforts of the patients and their guests. She made sure her staff took good care of everyone. Albert, Carla, and Carmen gave me wonderful care during my PT and OT sessions. They all prepared me well for my exit home and were always thoughtful and kind during my therapy. Sante has my highest recommendations!

All the staff were great except for the kitchen supervisor she yelled at me instead of talking to me. That happened the last Saturday I was there it upset me so much . I would like to thank some staff members . Alberto,Spencer,Haily, Taylor Katie,Amanda, and Erin. They all did a wonderful for job me. They all went over and above for me. They helped me so very. The house keeping staff was excellent and so were the nursing staff. Everyone was friendly and willing to help in anyway possible. I would recommend your facility to anyone who needs rehab in the future. Thank you so much for the care you gave me. Again thank you for all the help you gave me. I was there for four weeks

Not impressed with the care at this place. If you have an older loved one, please check this place out thoroughly, and be the advocate for your loved one. My father was in Sante of Chandler in March/April 2023. The care he received was awful. The doctor that was filling in for their regular doctor was rude and condescending to the point I didn't even want him in the room with us. Very unprofessional! The nurses are snotty and act like you are bothering them if you ask for anything. Medication was not given as required which caused life-threatening problems, and then the nurse laughed about it and lied about giving it earlier (which she did not). They didn't change my dad at night and he slept in his close all night long. They urge patients drink water; however, every time I went to visit, the water jug was empty or across the room where it could not be reached by the patient. Patients are not attended to and left on the toilet or in a wheelchair for extended periods of time. I witnessed the same worker walk by our room 6 times when the button was pushed for help before coming in to see what was needed. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Our family complained numerous times and things never changed. I'm not sure if Mario is a case worker or the head of the nursing staff, but he is worthless. He told us numerous times he would check into things and never got back to us. We filed an appeal when they wanted to release my father. He was released home and then 3 days AFTER he was discharged we received a phone message that the appeal was honored. Makes no sense! Would not recommend.

My husband was a patient for a few weeks here. The CNA's and nursing staff were exceptional. Two of them took a personal interest in my husband's condition and helped to make his stay there the best possible experience. The food was very good and the kitchen staff extremely accommodating. This is the very best facility in all respects due to the nursing staff, OT and PT personnel and the accommodations. When medicare wanted to discharge my husband too early. The Director of Rehab facilitated his transfer to another very qualified facility to finish his rehab. Sante will always hold a special place in our hearts for the kind, professional care my husband received there. 5 stars from us!!!!

My mother was in Sante for two weeks. PT was great. The kitchen staff. The problem was the lack of attention. Several times we waited an hour or more for a response to her nurse alert. I stayed with my mother because I feared she wouldn’t get the care she needed. It is unacceptable for a 98 year old person to sit on the floor or toilet for 30+ minutes. I would not send a person I care about to this place.

Well who would want to be within the 4 walls of any type of physical rehab. But, I'm very pleased how all of the staff, ex;physical & occupational physical, CNA (the real backbone of the floors operation ), housekeeping, kitchen/serving staff. Also the staff who are in charge of seeing that you are in better health, feed probably. Include all that I've not mentioned, they are all there. There hard works keeps we patients well and enguaged for the better.

My mother was in Sante Mesa 2 times, and this was her second time in Sante chandler. Don’t ever take it for granted that these facilities are the same when you bring one of your Family members back. After 10 days,I had to take my mother out. This place is horrible. Whenever I try to talk to someone, The first excuse that would come out of their mouth is due to the coronavirus. If you look at the reviews for 2019 and 2020 you will see the same complaints that they’re getting now and they was not a coronavirus going on in 2019. I told them the first day that my mother had to have her clothes washed and special detergent, I would pick them up every day and wash them myself. Her caseworker told me no problem. Two days later my mother is broke out in a horrible rash because they washed her clothes. I told them the first day that my mother was there she could not use her hands to use a phone, and she has dementia. I explain to her that my mother would get very upset if she did not know where she was at it was very important that she talk to her family. My mother was in quarantine so she could only get phone calls. Her caseworker told me no problem, just tell your family members to call the nurses station and tell them who they was trying to contact and they would take an iPad in there and help my mother. My family members got disgusted of calling and bey put on hold and nobody returning their calls. So they just stop trying. I was told since my mother was in quarantine I would get an update on her once a day. I would wait till the end of the day , I would call and talk to one of the nurses and explain to them that I had not heard anything on my mother and I need to update. I received one call back with an update on my mother in 10 days. They told me I had to call it least 45 min to a hour and advance to let them know that I was coming over to see my mother outside her window. I will call, and go to the front desk when I got there to just let them know that I was there, I would go to my mothers window and stand there for 25 to 30 minutes waiting for somebody to come to the window, nobody would show. I had to drive 45 minutes each way to see my mother. I saw my mother four Times out of 10 days because nobody would even go into her room and open the window and put her in front of the window for me. She actually had trash under her bed on Tuesday, and when I went back and saw her on Friday the trash was still under her bed. She would have the same pajama top on for two days. I only talk to her caseworker three times out of 10 days. When I pick my mother up, she cried all the way home, asking me why I put her in that horrible nursing home. My mother loved it at Sante when she was there before. The only reason I gave it one star is because that’s the only choice I had for the lowest review.

Front staff at desk Made a comment to co workers that we should have just taken our grandma home in an incubator We were told by the social worker “There’s is a time limit on these things” The director was rude and condescending and tried to kick us out for the convenience of her employees The police were called and security was called to watch us and monitor our family The staff did not kno up from down Someone barged into the room while me and my family were grieving requesting wheel cheer 38 Where were the other 37 that she had to come into the room They didn’t take any personal items out of hers They threw away all her stuff

I am furious! My 86 yr old disabled father was there to rehab from a stroke in January. Of course, we couldn’t visit inside, only at the window. Communication was lacking, if I didn’t initiate call. After a month, with no progress (he had curled foot from prior accident already), he was discharged to my home, where Hospice is now helping. He came home with bedsores on his rear end, the ball of his right foot, and a horrible one on the left heel! He was extremely weak due to the food was very bad. He ate little. He has gained some strength back, and all but the heel had healed up. The heel is now at Stage 3, even though I had a podiatrist out and wound care 3 x a week by Hospice nurse. Expensive medication, Santyl ($200) also. It smells horrible, and I’m concerned it could be a stage 4, as he’s complaining his muscles hurt in leg now too! Unacceptable neglect. I will be sending pics and letter to ADHS!

Rooms are large..airy..temperature is self-regulate. Carpet is squeaky clean..my socks never got dirty when walking on carpet. That is rare. Staff very friendly but communications need a little improvement. Food is delicious!

HORRIBLE!! I'm only giving one star because I'm forced to. My husband has been in this facility for one week, to receive physical therapy rehab for his injured knee. He spent a week in Chandler Regional hospital, who then shipped him off to Sante Chandler. Worst decision ever..the staff is horrendous! It took 2 days for him to get a nurse call button. He was told to just "yell out if you need help." With or without the call button, it takes HOURS for a nurse or CNA to respond. When they come into his room, they ask him "what's your problem?" He has waited hours for his pain medication, the staff tells him every single time they "have to go to the pharmacy to get the medication." Then he waits again, in intense pain, for another hour or two. He rang for a nurse two days ago, advised them he needed to urgently use the restroom. He cannot get out of bed by himself, there is no bedpan near him or within his reach. The nurse who came into his room told him "you'll have to wait until I finish my rounds." He again stated to her he really needed to use the restroom, she walked out. Unfortunately he had no choice but to soil himself. The nurse returned 45 minutes later..45 MINUTES LATER! He had to sit in that bed, embarrassed and soiled, for 45 minutes. He has been treated inhumanely since he arrived. Apparently the staff feel they can take their frustrations out on the patients, and since family cannot visit due to Covid restrictions, they have no one to answer to. I will be lodging complaints on Monday morning with the AZ State Dept of Health, Medicare, Cigna Healthcare and channel 12 for a full investigation. Read other reviews, we are not the only family that feels their loved one has been mistreated. This facility and company are making a ton of money to provide healthcare to patients. Apparently they have forgotten what their missions is, and why they are getting paid. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR FAMILY MEMBER TO STAY HERE..this facility and staff should be ashamed of themselves. I'm certain they would not allow their own family members to be treated like this..SHAMEFUL!! I have not been contacted by anyone..ANYONE..from this facility about his care plan, potential release date, meds..NOT ONE FORM OF COMMUNICATION..

This place was horrible. They never checked on my boyfriend thru the night I was there all night. I talked with the charge nurse the next day on several issues. She assured things would change. I had to leave the next morning for a few hours and when I got back my boyfriend was over medicated with morphine which was never authorized. I demaned his Mar's. They would of continued to over medicate to keep them sadate. I pulled him out the next day.Notified Adult Protected Services.Plus Department of Health. Please do not put your love one there unless you are there advocate please.

How disappointing. Multiple people told me what a fantastic facility this. Maybe it was 18 mos ago, but I question that now. The facility is beautiful and new. However new does not mean better care. Issues: call lights don't work correctly, several times over 45 min to answer. When a senior needs a bathroom it's now, not in 45 min. Food was delicious...when they brought it. Multiple times had to call and ask again for meals that were over an hour late... Then cold. If it was hot it was delicious... Recommend the dining room, meals to rooms were iffy on delivery service. Linens were scarce... Few available on weekends. Family should not have to go looking for a wash cloth or towel. Commodes were not emptied for 12 hours, and remained by pt bed. Some nursing staff were good, a couple were great! Some acted like you were bothering them for routine care , assistance dressing or getting in bathroom. Very disappointed to have to always complain to get what should be done as routine for $975.00 a day.

Sante of Chandler is a good place to go, to get healthy again. They have all kinds of therapies like occupational, physical, diet, and so on. The staff have all been great. The rooms have their own restroom, fridges, microwaves and sinks. The food is like hospital food. They also have all kinds of activities.

My Dad was staying at Sante', I wasn't happy with the fact that the reason we took him there was for Physical Therapy for his Legs, and all they seemed to be concerned with was his Speach. I feel they dropped they fell short of my expectations, and argued with me trying to convince me that they were helping my Dad. If you want to take someone here for a few weeks to sit and relax then that's basically all you will get. On the other hand, if you bring somewhere here to get Physical Therapy so that they can walk out of the place forget it, this place SUCKS... Another thing is the Staff doesn't even provide written information about any type of progress, even the Physical Therapy Dept. couldn't even tell me how much walking my Dad did in his 3 week stay. We couldn't wait to finally get him out once we actually realized that Sante" is a bad choice for Patient Rehabilitation. In the last couple days that my Dad's been home we are seeing much improvement and progress. My Dad even told me that we are giving him much better care than what Sante' provided. They had the nerve to tell my Mom that she isn't cooperating with them and they were going to report us. My Mom can show them how to do their job, and teach them how to make better Spaghetti Sauce too...ha I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...try to find another place is what I would suggest...

The things I like at Santé of Chandler are employee longevity, professionalism, and courteousness of the staff, and the beautiful dining room. They allow their patients to eat in their room or in the dining room, and food was exceptional. The only thing is my father-in-law needed to have something done a couple of days ago, and it took them more than 24 hours to get it done.

Sante of Chandler is wonderful, clean, and neat. I have a large room that's one of the better ones, I guess. They have a lot of good programs and good food. The therapy is good, too. They have a lot of nice, modern equipment.

My sister was in Santé of Chandler for a short period of time for about a week or so. I was very impressed with the entire facility. It was very attractive. The exterior was well maintained. The interior was clean. The furnishings were eye-pleasing. Things were kept clean, and bathrooms were clean for the visiting family members. It was very nice. The employees seemed very responsive. I thought it was a nice place for the services it provided. They had activities, but my sister was completely bedridden. Of course, they had a community cafeteria or restaurant, but she was bedridden, so they brought all her meals to her. The food was not as good as a high-class restaurant, but it was good.

Santé of Chandler is where my mom is undergoing rehab. It's been very well. The staff is very attentive and very observant. There seem to be a good number of staff. It is very new, and I thought the facility is very nice. It wasn't elegant, but everything seems very nice, new, and well kept. The rooms were very large with nice amenities. The room itself has a microwave, a sink, a kitchenette, and a refrigerator in them. They also have a couch for family members to stay there or take a nap. It is not cramped at all. The one that she was in last year it was nice, but it was not really setup as nice as Santé.

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING!! Nursing staff is terrible!!! I am in the healthcare field and visited MANY rehab/nursing facilities for my mom who obtained a broken hip from a fall. I chose Sante Of Chandler because of the bright decor and private rooms. What a mistake. The facility lacks the very basic in medical care for its residents. The first night my mom was at Sante she was in excruciating pain. Although she was on pain meds, they wer not helping. When I asked the head nurse Stefanie to call the on call md to get additional pain meds, she did not do so and left her shift 20 mins later. When I asked the r.n. Sofie if the md called back yet she informed me that nobody had even called the md. She then argued with me for over a half hour that my mom was already on pain meds. I informed her that at the hospital my mom was also getting morphine every 2 hours to help with breakthrough pain. As my 70year old mother lay on the bed clenching the sheets, Sofie continued to tell me there was nothing she could do. I pleaded with her to call the md. Only after I told her my position in the the healthcare field did she finally call the md....2 hours later she finally got additional pain meds. The nurses also did nothing for my moms constipation. By day 10 without a bowel movement and feeling nauseous from constipation and having not eaten for 10days, I contacted an md who told me my mom could have fecal impaction and perforate her bowels. After I threatened calling 911 to bring her to an emergency room did the nurse FINALLY call the md. Up to this 10 day point, the nursing staff didn't even follow their own written protocols for constipation. My mom hadn't even gotten something as basic as Milk of Magnesia within these 10days. The nursing staff ignore basic medical care like giving meds on time or as instructed with food. One day 6 hours went by before anyone checked in on my mom. I stayed every night for 12 nights with my mom and witnessed first hand the lack of attention to medical care Sante nurses provide to their patients. Had I not spent all day and night with my mom she wouldn't have gotten pain meds, and God knows what would've happened to her bowels. I feel sorry for the many patients who don't have advocates to speak up for them at this facility. I WOULD NOT SEND ANYONE YOU LOVE OR CARE ABOUT TO THIS FACILITY.

Sante was nice, it didn't stink. I would recommend them to anybody. My mom had her own private room and TV. They had physical therapy for her every day. They have massages, they have somebody come in to do hair, they have games, a coffee shop and a restaurant. The food is affordable and really good, and there's even WIFI. The staff were very nice and they went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable.
