Lakewood Senior Living of Jasper

My mom moved into Lakewood Senior Living-Jasper. All the people there are very nice and pleasant. When they came out to interview her, they're not trying to sell their place like other places. They interviewed her. They checked her out to see what she was capable of, what she was able to do, and whether or not they would be able to care for her and take care of her. So far, they've been very nice, and they've been very helpful. Their rooms are nice and clean, and they're kept up. The residents are all friendly. They all try to make you feel at home. The community is laid out very nicely. The dining room is not very far to go. The food is excellent. They feed her well, and the food is great, we had one dinner there where it was fantastic food. It's home-cooked food that's good. They have activities for them, but my mom hasn't gotten involved yet. I know some ladies do puzzles and jigsaws.

I often went to lakewood Senior Living in Jasper, Al to visit my grandmother. I would visit her as often as I could. Upon my visits I learned alot about the facility. They would have church held there on Sundays. Sometimes they had people come in and play music and sing. They had exercise after breakfast every morning. There was a piano for residents to play. They had a radio, books and plenty of puzzles to do. They also did crafts together as a group once a week. The staff was always friendly. The facilities were always clean. Not only did they smell clean but also was presented to be very clean. There was a nurse that came in the mornings and she also came in the evenings. She was very nice and attentative. Every room had special alarms that relate to each resident. There is a large area for parking. The landscaping is gorgeous. The facilicity is very easy to find because it is right off of the highway.
