My mom is currently in South Haven Health and Rehabilitation where she is going through rehab. So far, they seem to be pretty nice and caring. I haven't had too much of an issue with them. They have definitely been very good to her so far. Everything has been OK with them. My mom's room is little bit small, but it is adequate for her. The upkeep is OK. They're doing OK about as well as they can do, but the building is pretty old, and that's the biggest thing. Just tasting a little bit of my mom's food, it tastes OK. It is satisfactory. They have some kind of gatherings there. It looked something like football games. I haven't seen a lot of their activities, but I know they have quite a few of them. It is expensive. The building is not unclean or anything like that, but it needs renovations.

The staff is friendly, courteous, compassionate and thorough! The facilityis cleaned constantly and there is no hint of urea in the halls or rooms! That is unlike other facilities of which I am familiar! PT, OT and ST are conducted by true caring professionals with goal oriented strategies. Admissions, activities, social services, nurses and CNA's will always greet you with a sincere smile. Financial office and admin always have their doors open and ready for consult. A true blessing for my Son! Thank you all at South Haven for being so professional and caring!! There is a special place in Heaven for all true caregivers!!

The staff at South Haven have taken wonderful care of my mother. I highly recommend this facility. I even recommend my close neighbor that needed somewhere for therapy and they loved the care as well.

I moved a parent into this facility a few months ago and was pleased with the care she received during her stay. Unfortunately it was a short stay but I was very impressed with the care she received. Any issues that arose were communicated to me immediately. Personnel were all great to work with and always felt they took good care of her.

South Haven Health and Rehabilitation is a really old place, but they seem to be very caring, friendly and seem to take care of details. They're really good about contacting the family to let them know what's going on, like when my brother-in-law might have a doctor's appointment. We feel like they stay in touch with us even if we go see him all the time. He seems pleased with the meals, too.

My wife has been here for over 2 months. Most of the staff is above reproach, however, there are 3 LENs that need their license pulled. On Sat night 8/6/16 she hurt her back bad all the staff knows she had 5 compression fractures but refuses to treat her carefully. Sometimes on the weekend it may be 30 minutes before her light will be answered 8/7/16 was one of those times. The CNA was on lunch break and 3 other employees were at the nursing station never attempted to help. It is quit obvious remedial training for the care of the patients need to be addressed.
