Rooms stayed dirty. What the residents have to pay monthly, there food should be healthy and good. In my opinion meals were more like a snack. The food was questionable at times. They had one cook that was good, but she wasn't full time. They never give medicine on time. My mother in law fell twice and broke her right hip and left hip and had to go to the ER within a 3 month period. And she also fell hit her head and had to go to hospital. Some good people do work there. The facility was owned and started up by the owners mom who was a retired school teacher. Now her son, and daughter in law own it. It used to get better ratings. But they have some ethical and moral issues that need to be addressed. They are a privately owned facility and do not have to follow state guidelines like other medical facilitie do. I visited there often and I would recommend future residents and their families to ASK QUESTIONS, and keep a notebook of your loved ones health, meds, showers, food, etc. Check up on your family often!

My mother stayed there and just enjoyed herself and made new friends. The staff was so helpful and The staff was always helpful & to mom . The owners are a married couple and they started Oak Landing 24 yrs ago. They are the Administrators and are always there. The food is amazing. The facility is very clean and has no oder which was my first attraction. Great place.

Food was scarce. The rooms stayed dirty alot. They are a NON MEDICAL facility, meaning they do have physician's that are there on certain days and on site appointments. However the aides/techs cannot wash private parts to those who need it. That was my fault for not asking. I just never thought I would have to ask that question considering it was an Assisted Living Facility and the cost is high. They have only one employee for 3rd shift. She does the best she can. They need to hire more employees in the pm. The doors are unlocked 24/7. They do have an alarm that sounds when someone comes through the door, but it's not loud enough to keep patients safe or to keep an intruder out. They have a few good employees that truly care! And some of their employees past and present have criminal records. The owners should be held responsible for many things. Some of the things the owners did showed us just how unprofessional they are. What my family went through that happened while my mom was within hours of her death was UNACCEPTABLE! I hope and pray that no one else EVER HAS TO GO THROUGH what our family went through. I would never recommend this place...ever.

My mother is in Oak Landing. From what we've experienced, the care has been pretty good. The staff members are all sweet and nice, and they're good to her, and that's all I care about.
