We had Rainshadow Home Health last year for my father-in-law. They were pretty good. I had been told that they also had nursing care included, but after they were hired, they suddenly didn't have a nurse available as we needed it. The family had to fill in most of the time, so it was a little frustrating. The caregivers were good and helpful. They were limited in what they could do for the care that we needed. Some of them were a bit more willing to help and do some of the household chores, but a lot of them just came with a book or just sat and watch TV and they didn't interact a lot with my father-in-law. They were supposed to monitor him doing his blood sugar and taking his insulin, but they just reminded him what time of day it was and to do that. Nursing was supposed to come in and help with that, but they didn't have a nurse. His compression leggings had to be put on in the morning and taken off at night and it had to be washed, but we had some problems with them following through on that.

We have been using Rain Shadow since December of last year. The caregiver has been very good. They come in and shower my husband twice a week, help him dress, change his bed linens, help him with regular toiletries, and help me with whatever I need done, like vacuuming or any other heavy work that I can’t do. The working attitude is excellent; they are very friendly. I don't have any complaints at all.
