Senior Buddies is doing a good job overall. The things I've noticed about them is that they're very organized, and probably the most organized among the agencies I have worked with so far. I like the fact that their office staff can fill in if someone is not available. They use their office staff to train the new people as well, and that's unique from the other agencies I've used. So far the caregivers themselves are doing a good job as well. They're very sincere in their concern and they care for my mother, so I appreciate that. I gave them specific days and times for 12-hour shifts, and they've been able to fill those fine. We haven't had any problems, and they're very flexible in that regard. I would say they're a good value for the money. Among the agencies I have used they actually charge the least, and they've done better than some of the other ones I've used.

All cottages feature inviting, scenic views of the spring-fed pond or wooded hillside and are conveniently located near Boerne.
Cottage residents enjoy dining options, which include daily home delivery of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For the comfort and convenience of our residents, light, weekly housekeeping is provided, as well as community and ground maintenance. Scheduled activities enhance quality of life and encourage new friendships.
Assisted Living
The Lodge is a unique, licensed assisted living residence for seniors desiring assistance with tasks of daily living. It has been family owned and operated since 1996. With a commitment to quality, our exceptional staff provides personalized care and individualized attention, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Our peaceful setting and low staff-to-resident ratio allow residents to experience a warm and loving community. Respite care is also available.
The Lodge residents enjoy the comfort of a spacious, 12,000 sq.ft., Spanish-style home, as well the natural beauty of the historical grounds. Daily activities are designed to promote health and well-being and foster socialization.
