The Gentiva Hospice at Blanco Road in San Antonio was outstanding. The people there were very caring and extremely helpful. The Chaplain took time to come speak with me which I thought was very nice. It is a very difficult time for all there but these people really help with everything. Would highly recommend this place if you find your self in this unfortunate situation.

1. We were told that my father would receive 24hr care on his last day. That never happened. 2. We were informed by a nurse that someone would come in 3 times a week to bathe him. No one ever came. 3. When I asked a nurse for her medical opinion on a time frame, her response was to share her personal experiences with death along with a biblical lecture. Never got my question answered. 4. The day if my father's death, nurses were called countless times. Their response, call us when he passes. This is not a hospice care company. This is basically a pharmacy with a nurse telling you there's nothing they can do but give you their life story.
