This hospice was great for my family from beginning to end. First I spoke with a young lady who knew insurances and didn't pressure me to make a choice. Then she sent Alicia to meet with me and my family. After that, the gates opened. Mike, Andre, and Nedra were great! My ENTIRE family feel loved by the Heartland family. My loved one is gone, but I gained an entire family.

This place is horrible!!! When a patient enters hospice it is for the best care for your loved ones. Well that is not the case with this facility! My experience was beyond words!! Their scheduling of staff was inconsistent and never on time! Medications we allowed to run out. They were disorganized and just flat out rude. Their staff was not helpful nor compassionate when it came to the needs of my loved one!! So I would think twice before I asked them for help!!

The administration at this hospice has to be the most unprofessional, rude group of people I have ever seen. It's no wonder they have a constant, revolving door of healthcare workers. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. The only exception would be one nurse, I forget her name but she mainly worked weekends....blonde hair. She was very responsive to my father's needs and seemed to be very knowledgeable. But then we were on our own Monday through Friday.
