We were not assigned anyone who could find good care. We always had to have someone here because the caregiver had transportation issues.

I've had more good experiences with them than I did poor. I had three really good caregivers in the past. They would have taken care of me. It was very stressful. They needed to initiate, and do more than the minimum. If they don't understand the scope of the task I've asked for, they need to ask so they understand.

They were very quick to respond to our needs, and they accommodated our needs. The caregivers were very excellent. They helped keep her on track throughout the day and helped with daily tasks.

They are prompt with their responses. We met the owner, and she did a good job of telling us what was provided. I was able to have someone here when I need to leave the house.

I had one caregiver who fell asleep in the middle of the night and didn't change my mother in the appropriate amount of time, but usually they are great. I just recently had a problem with ensuring the women who come, especially replacements, that they are up to the same quality as the person that is being replaced.

I wish they asked questions and were more proactive. I wish they did not have so many restrictions on the caregivers and what they could and could not do.

Some of the people that come out and will spend the day on the phone, but if I ask them for something to drink, they will do it. When the person from visiting angels came out, they had a whole list of what they are supposed to do, but some of them come and don't do it. There is a significant difference in the range of care that you get depending on who comes. The continuity of the people who comes, you get some good ones and some that aren't. Some of them are outstanding and make the others look not so good.
