My friend was at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice before he passed away. The intention of going there was just to kind of stabilize him for two or three days, but he never came out. His condition has deteriorated so rapidly that he was just not able to go anywhere else. The care was excellent, the nursing staff and the resident doctor were very helpful, very open and honest about what was going on. I was very satisfied with his care. Communication from the facility to the family was really good. The rooms are large to allow for family to come in and be with the patient 24 hours a day. They could just come and go. It was a very nice facility.
