The care that my husband received was exceptional. Services over 2 years consisted of professional , courteous and compassionate care from the nurses, aides, and social worker. I felt their support is what helped me cope and provide better care for my husband who had Alzheimer's.

We are extremely regretful that we had Hospice into our home. I honestly believe our loved one would still be with us now...if we had taken care of her ourselves. Unprofessional, sarcastic and seem to have a planned agenda for death early on, even though looking back death was not near. My only advice to you is to: 1)when they don't have a mask on nor gloves, question it! 2)When they have an attitude, ask them to please stop and show some mercy. 3)After a month or so when they start giving you exactly 5 days of morphine to be given on their schedule when you don't even see why she would need it...that is the beginning of the end.

When my father was in the hospital, McCall Hospice House came out. They were exceptionally wonderful. They came in throughout the day. We're in the room every few minutes checking my dad's breathing. His sugar went over 600. The doctor said the next morning, it was dad's body's way of shutting down. He went into a dialysis coma and he was running a high fever. They said it was just the body fighting. They kept him very comfortable. The nurses would bathe my father warm bath. They kept me so up to date, and they are right there to answer any questions we had.
