My mother was at Canterbury Place Pittsburgh, PA under their Family Hospice unit for about two and a half weeks before she passed. They were phenomenal. All those people were absolute angels. They bathed her daily. They helped her to eat as much as she could. They gave her her medications on time. They listened to our concerns if we had any. They made sure that we took care of ourselves. They had pastoral care. They took care of everything that could have been making my mom uncomfortable. I felt very at ease knowing that she was being taken care of. My mother had a private room with her own bathroom. She had a twin-sized hospital bed. There was a recliner chair, a futon, a big bathroom, a television, dressers, and closets. They had a nice sound machine where we could play music for her. They had a family room down the hall if we needed to step out for a break.
