Private, local agency. Provides help for people leaving hospital or nursing home to readjust to home life. However, we are using them for terminal elder care for "pre-hospice" assistance as hospice criteria have become stiffer. Nurse comes twice a week. OT has visited to help with efficient movement, conservation of energy, etc. They have aides available for light housework and meal prep, but we haven't used them at this point. They are covered by Medigap insurance and re-evaluate after 30 days. Can be renewed. Very nice people and have been a good support.
