Our experience with hospice was wonderful. With their help, my brother was able to stay at his home pretty much to the end of his life. He developed lasting friendships with the caregivers and the preacher that visited with him even did the service which was wonderful. Our only one problem was at the hospital, we felt that we could have used some support and nobody was there at the end of his life.

We were so impressed with the care my husband was given on his final days. An aide came in and gave him a bath and shave. He died with dignity. My family was very impressed with the care he was given.

I recently had to care for my grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer. My wife and I struggled with keeping up with her care plus the growing demands financially. I felt like I was drowning with the growing demands on me to care for my ill grandmother, my job, and my family. I then talked to a woman at the doctor's office who recommended Kindred Hospice. This company was a godsend with numerous angels who put the needs of my grandmother above their own. From everyone like the aide who gave her baths, the nurse who treated her wounds, the social worker who organized respite care to got me and my wife are much needed break, to the pastor who helped guide us through the grieving process. As if that wasn't enough anytime I called the office if a nurse wasn't available the executive director who is a nurse herself would come out to ease my concerns. Any medication needed was discussed with me prior to it being administered. They even respected our religious beliefs and found alternatives to certain medications and treatment options. I would recommend these angels to anyone. Without them my grandmother may have suffered in a hospital instead of being able to pass peacefully at home with her loved ones. Thank you everyone, my grandmother loved you all.

My mother has Kindred Hospice now. Her diagnosis of brain cancer sped up her decline. The nurse, aide and social worker were so helpful, kind and informative. I really couldn't do this without them. I would recommend Kindred to everyone I know who needs to go the comfort route. I want to thank all the staff there as I feel they are angels!

I would not recommend Kindred. They have provided NO support and kept saying "it's part of the process" when any questions were asked of a particular situation. They wanted to start giving Morphine very early on which was against family's wishes. If there is no pain it's not needed. Not anything like my friends have told me their experiences were like.

I would not recommend using this hospice care. They have not answered multiple times when trying to call and one was an emergency! Completely unacceptable! You don't get a second chance with hospice and I am very disappointed in my choice. Please do not make the same mistake that I did
