Dayton VA Hospice and Palliative Care

My father is currently in hospice care in victory ridge. My mother in law was recently in a rehab facility elsewhere. The difference is night and day. My father's care is absolutely top notch! I am completely impressed by the staff and the level of care he is receiving.

Check out their virtual tour online before making assumptions! Can't say enough WONDERFUL things about Victory Ridge at Dayton VA! This is a free of charge Hospice facility for ANY Veteran, only 3 years old with air mattresses that are top of the line, recommended by Dayton Hospice, ration of nurse to patients is 1 to 4-EXCEPTIONAL, patients receive massages + barber services, Dr. in house 24-7, etc. This is a first class organization who TRULY cares about patients as well as family. All private rooms with sleeper sofas. Dad only had 5 days there but he was given the tender loving care he deserved and had gone without at a local Nursing Home! So refreshing and touching to see such VA services available to honor our Vets!

I would tell you the staff there is wonderful people they are so careing while my father was passing away the where a should a hand in need...One thing really touched my heart was i went out side and came back in and the nurse Debbie was holding my fathers hand and humming to him while he was taking some of his last breathes this touched my heart in so many ways that u would think my father was hers aswell...People always donate there time to have food for you to eat..The doctors where caring aswell the hole staff is just amazing if i could i would give them 10 stars....If you need any info you can call me and ill tell you all i know.
