Summa home health care is poor on so many levels. The physical therapist seem to be excellent, but that’s where it ends. The care is inconsistent from the nursing staff. The follow through in my case, was nonexistent. after nine weeks of therapy, they told me that they didn’t take my insurance. This made no sense, since they had said they took my insurance when we set up the therapies. They made a mistake, obviously. And it took them two months to figure it out. Even though they told me they check monthly. Very incompetent, very disorganized. And they make excuses for errors by their employees. I suspect because they have a high turnaround. Don’t use this agency.

We're using Summa Homecare. The doctor, her nurse practitioner, and a nurse come out and checks on my husband. They provide his medicine and anything medical, and they work with Medicare. The doctor just gave him a thorough check up, and she comes in once every six months. The nurses come about once every two weeks. They're keeping an eye on him.
