I had two referrals from my doctor and with Well Care Home Health. There's something about the people that I talk to that I felt more comfortable with. They've all been excellent. Excellent. Mostly I need physical therapy, which I get two times a week, and then occupational therapy. Scheduling is very good, they phoned me, they give me an opportunity to either have a regular days or just be able to call ahead of time, because that works for me. They're very personable, very informative, and they gave me as much information as they could. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm very happy with them.

We are using Well Care Home Health for my husband. They provide personal care, somebody comes up and bathes him, there's physical therapy, occupational therapy, and swallowing therapy to help you swallow correctly. They did not offere cognitive therapy when he fell and hit his head. I can't say enough of the person who takes care of him, and comes and bathes him; she's wonderful. They're excellent, you can reach them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No matter what your problem is, they will send a nurse out the very next day, or somebody to handle your problem.

Well care home health is a joke. My mother got out of the hospital in February and they said she needed home health care so we went with well care not knowing that they are very unrealible. They tell you that they will be there at 9 and show up at 12. They don't come for weeks but want to make money so will come for three days straight and sit on the computer and type and do nothing. My mom and me insisted she be discharged from well care because they were doing nothing and they extended the discharge process to three days to make money. If there was a star less there one I would give them that. I work at night and take care of my mom during the day so in the mornings we want to sleep but we couldn't even do that because we waited up and tried to be nice to very slow unprofessional well care nurses to come. To top it off my mom always had a different nurse and we never knew which one was coming or what they were doing and why. This service should be shut down and reevaluated. The nurse that claims to be the head nurse is very dizzy and seems like she may be drinking while on the job I don't want to get anyone in trouble and I can't remember names because there is so many of them but please evaluate well care of wilmington nc and Burgaw nc in Pender and new handover counties.
