"My parent moved in at The Brightmore in October. This was our choice because it was the only one that had independent living here in town. The facility is wonderful. It's rental per month there and all the food and everything else are provided. My parent has a two-bedroom unit with a living room and a kitchen. It is about 1100 square feet. The staff is fine. What I like best about this facility is that she's well taken care of and she is safe and secure. The place is just wonderful. "

"My father-in-law is in Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall. It's new, it's a happy place, and it's clean. They are also very efficient, professional, and very careful. They have a lot of rules and regulations because of COVID, so we couldn't ask for a better place for him to be staying. It's extremely nice. The only reason we are looking at this other place is because we live nearby, and we wanted him to move closer to us. Because of COVID, there were a lot of things that were closed. For example, when they have any staff or aides coming in, they shut down the dining facilities for them. There is not much socializing because of COVID, which is no fault of theirs, that's just them being careful. When they do shut down the dining room, he orders from the comfort of his own room. I would say the food is fine. For the value, I think he pays about $4700, so if you're able to afford it, then it's a really nice place to live. I think he's getting a good value for what he pays."

"It is very nice. They have apartments, they have individual housing. It's considered to be probably the high-end or the upscale one in the area. It's set in a lot of acres with a lot of walking path. They come in and clean your apartment or house once a week and they offer just one meal a day, a continental breakfast. As the need arises, you can change from one type of housing to another or to an assisted living. The staff were very knowledgeable. It's a very good facility from staff all the way through. "
