I have been with Comfort Keepers since 2021 when I moved to NC. I used them for a couple years in TN before my move. They are very professional and trustworthy. Provide exceptional customer service for a reasonable rate. The care giver I have now Miss Audrey is the best care taker I have ever had. She is always on time. She is even willing to stay late if i need her to. She helps me with everything and is always finding things to help me with. Great communication and she keeps my spirits up the whole time. She helps with my bathing, laundry and my meal prep. She is an amazing cook. She keeps me company as well. She is a great woman to have in my home! She is great with my dog and gives her walk’s every time she comes!

This company has more of a focus of telling the client what they will do for them than of asking what is needed. The saddest part is that they are dishonest about the schedule consistency that they promise, and then they REFUSE to return phone calls when a phone conference is requested to discuss such matters. Due to their NO SHOWS, prioritizing “having to attend a party”, and similar behavior, my grandmother was left without the needed care we’d hired, and she ended up hospitalized. The stories change frequently based on whatever untrue statements they cook up for not being available to either provide care or call a client back I would never recommend them. Even when their managers make promises, we quickly learned that we could not rely on that due to high management turnover.

Comfort Keepers was OK. We used them only once. I had a medical procedure at the hospital and I needed a driver. The caregivers were pretty good; however, they were sort of old and had trouble finding the place.

Comfort Keepers were not flexible. I have ALS and it is not always possible that I may have to go see a doctor or a specialist with very little advance notice. So when I called them and said to the lady scheduler that I'm not going to need a caregiver tomorrow because I have a doctor's appointment, she said, 'OK, but we're going to have to charge you because you didn't give us notice.' I said to that person, 'Just so you know if you charge me one penny, you're on your way out.' They didn't charge me, but that day I started to look for a replacement. Comfort Keepers was history.

We have been with Comfort Keepers for two years now. We have a superstar as a home health assistant. She is exceptional! She helps me out with all kinds of personal care, like showering, personal hygiene, grocery shopping, washing clothes, and going to the grocery store. Billing is good now that we have it straightened out. She tries very hard but she is not available a lot of the times. Many of the times, you have to leave a voicemail message for her. She does very well and she is very helpful, but she is not always available.

My father hired Comfort Keepers in the past. It was great. Everybody was friendly and definitely helpful. Every one they sent our way was great and they were so sweet. They helped him warm up his lunch, they helped straighten out his bathroom, they made up the bed, and they made sure he was dressed before I got home. My father was OK with the caregivers.
