We used to have Amedisys Home Health Care. They were overseeing and supervising the exercise routine, asking questions about what our procedures are for the day, and made recommendations if needed. They helped my husband and showed him how to go up and down the steps, made sure they went throug, and walked with him. They are by his side for the whole 40 minutes. They gave him what we call homework to do while they were gone to make sure he kept the program going and they measured those items when they came back the next time. There were levels of PT. They came twice a week and as the visits got longer, the people, I think, have more experience. They were very professional; everyone seems to do their job and knows their job. They follow through on health PPE, and security items were taken into considerations. They call to make the appointments, they call to let you know they are on their way, what time they will be coming, and the next appointments were handled the same way; very professional.
