This review is for a serious billing issue for services that were not requested or rendered by County Home Care. Ms. Latinwo, the president of County Home Care located at 144 Gardner Road in Hampton New York invoiced $240 for services on April 28th, 2024 that were not received. I contacted Ms. Latinwo to resolve the issue and she responded with an unprofessional email, which dismissed my inquiry for the billing issue. I hired County Home Care to provide care for Ella, my 80 year old sister, so she would not be alone when family members were not home for an extended period. She is currently preparing for cancer surgery and is a risk for falling. I did not request care for April 28th, 2024 because a family member was going to be home. When I spoke to Ms. Latinwo on April 15th, 2024 to cancel a scheduled service for April 21st, 2024, she told me that I needed to contact her at least five days to schedule . There has been a misunderstanding, but Ms. Latinwo’s response and failure to discuss the matter is unacceptable and unprofessional. The expectation for an 80 year old woman on a fixed income to pay $240 for a service she did not request or receive is unreasonable. Her failure to discuss the issue for a fair resolution is poor customer service. Ms. Latinwo’s callous response and refusal to acknowledge there was a misunderstanding with the contract does not serve senior citizens in a favorable manner. The contract is not clear and dates are missing and incorrect. I have lost confidence in County Home Care to provide ethical care for the elderly and do not recommend this company for senior services. Miriam, the care provider was the only positive and caring person in this horrible situation.

I have been assisting the elderly with their affairs for over 25 years including arranging for their home care services. Recently, because of a bad fall, I found myself in need of a home health aide. I was fortunate to have a caregiver come to help me. I can say without hesitation that the caregiver is an excellent, not only with great skills, but also with a caring, conscientious, and lovely upbeat attitude. I highly recommend County Home Care.

I was very impressed with the care mom received from this agency(caregiver). The caregiver was very dedicated and caring. We received exceptional service from this agency and would recommend this agency to other families. Thanks for giving mom an incredible last year.
