We are currently using the in-home care services of Griswold Home Care Toms River, NJ, for my husband. The caregiver makes sure that he's using his walker and that she's here with him. She helps him get dressed because he had some back surgery years ago, which has caused him to have difficulty putting on pants and socks, and things like that. She helps him with shaving, but sometimes he does it himself. She makes sure that he goes to the bathroom and is all cleaned up. She doesn't do the showering right now, but she probably will in the future. Right now, I only have her here for five hours, and it's not usually the time when he takes a shower, as he usually takes it late at night. She cooks for him and makes sure he has breakfast and lunch. No dinners yet, but I did hire her one night when I went out in the evening, and she fed him, and got him ready, putting his pajamas on. She's an outstanding and lovely young girl. She's very caring and very conscientious. I love her. Even their admin is very good, too. Dealing with them is fantastic.

The people at Griswold Home Care of Ocean County-Toms River, NJ are very caring and we're doing very well. The caregiver is there 24/7, it's an adjustment but everything is going very well. They cook for my friend, help her with her personal needs, showering, bathroom, dressing and they're there as a companion for her during the day. This lady is with us 24/7, she never leaves, so there's no issue with scheduling. She's a sweetheart; a very caring person and very nice. They follow through. After they placed her, they called to make sure everything was OK and that we were happy with everything. They said that for any complaints, to call and let them know. So the biggest plus is that they also let you know that they're there for you if you need them.

My mom has a caregiver from Griswold and she takes good care of her. Mom's very picky though and she's a bit old fashioned. We've had three different persons with her and one main one. Somebody comes in to substitute when the main one goes out.
