Upon visiting this facility there were people in wheel chairs, walkers and other means of transportation. They were neat and enjoying themselves talking, playing games, putting puzzles together, reading and many other items of enjoyment. For entry of the building you must ring the buzzer, the office has a window and they can see whom they are allowing to come into their building. I have met the caretakers, and also planned for my group to go into their building to entertain for the Christmas Holiday. We had to make reservations with the entertainment committee therefore our group will take socks and sugar free candy for all the tenants. I am getting excited for this is my first time going with this group. There are eleven or more seniors there that play Chimes and they sound great. They have a new conductor, (this is a volunteer position) which is a Senior Citizen as well. I have learned that the conductor is a Sign Language Interpreter, she is awesome. Thank you for allowing me to write such an article of this nature.
