My aunt was a resident at Little Hospice and I just want people considering it as an option to know that it is an amazing place. The quality of care and support for the resident and rest of the family is exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and my aunt was very happy in her time there. We could not have been more pleased with the experience she had there.

Losing a loved one can either bring a family closer together or cause greater rifts. Little Hospice helped bring ours closer than we had been in a long time. The home like atmosphere and welcoming demeanor of all those that worked & volunteered there was just what we needed to spend time with our dying father.. Because of the guest rooms and meal services that were offered on site, someone was with our dad at all times. We talked with him. laughed with him, cried with him, and shared memories with family, co-workers, and friends. The experience we had at Little Hospice allowed us to be fully present with our dad and allow him to leave us with dignity and grace. For that we will always be thankful.

As an adult child of a hospice patient, I was bracing myself for the sterotypical "nursing home" experience when I went to visit my Dad at Little Hospice. I couldn't have been more wrong, or more pleasantly surprised! Little Hospice is as close to actually being home with Dad as I could imagine. From the welcoming smell of home baked treats and meals to the gentle, caring attention my Dad received, every aspect of my time spent at Little Hospice helped so much during this difficult time. Despite the pain of losing my loved one, I will always tresure my memories of his last days due to the care both he and I received at Little Hospice. Anyone who is considering hospice will do well to visit Little Hospice. I am certain they will feel the love and caring I experienced.

Mom has picked Little Hospice of Edina when she was still alive. It was absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend them to anybody and I would want to go there if I was dying. They treated nicely not only the patient, but as well as the family. They have meals for us. It was a marvelous and a wonderful experience. My mother was cared for explicitly.

We chose this community because each room was private, and it felt more like a home than a facility. The staff was great, the place was wonderful, they would give us whatever we needed at the time.

I can not conceive of a better place for our mother to be than the N.C Little Hospice. The care givien to Mom as well as to the family has defied belief. Mom has commented so many times on how gentle and loving the staff is and they have gone far beyond expectations in that they have not only cared for Mom, but for our whole family. From meals to a place to stay and showing genuine interest in our family and our needs, we have been totally impressed with the hominess of the facility and the professionalism of the staff. But along with their professional, what strikes us most is that they genuinely care about us and what we're going through. They have made this end of life transition so easy for the family and for Mom and we are ever so thankful. I cannot recommend the Little Hospice highly enough. Rich Dahlen

My brother-in-law fortunate was to spend his last days in the gentle care of the staff of the NC Little Memorial Hospice. They didn't just take care of Steve and keep him comfortable and pain free, they took care of the entire family -- wife, daughters, siblings, nieces and nephews. They fed us breakfast, lunch and dinner; they housed us in comfortable private bedrooms, they let us cry; they let us laugh; they shared or memories. End of life is so difficult, we all consider ourselves and Steve fortunate to have been in this hospice's gentle care. My wish for everyone is to grow old without illness, but if that can't be, my wish is that everyone gets the end of life care offered by this very special place. Elaine Goldberg
