American House Sterling Meadows was great. Under the tension of COVID, they still did fabulous with my mother-inlaw. She had no complaints at all. When she first came in, she was mobile with a walker, and then eventually we had hospice come in, and that's where she passed at. The facility itself looked very nice. It was a three-story building and she was on the second floor. She had a two-bedroom. They had a beautiful dining room on the main floor, and activity rooms on the second floor. They had different denominations of religion that would come in on Sundays, and social activities. The staff was very good and she got excellent care. They gave her an option with every meal, and her appetite actually improved. They had entertainment come in, they could use a shuttle to go to doctors' appointments if they wanted to, therapy was offered, and they had a hairdresser. It set her needs. So, it was absolutely worth every penny we paid them.
