Dad was diagnosed with leukemia. It was a stressful and confusing period for all of us, but we feel the best possible outcome was achieved with guidance and assistance provided by Hospice Advantage. My dad was very pleased with the quality of services that Hospice provided, as well as the true professionalism that everyone showed. This was a difficult time, yet they brought him a reason to smile and an encouraging thought on their daily or weekly visit. We are really thankful for always being there not only for my dad but for all of us his family.

Jason was our caregiver and contact with Hospice Advantage, and from the first meeting through the end of care he was on top of things. My mom was in a nursing home with MS for almost a decade, and her health would rise and fall regularly. She had been on hospice care with another provider 2 years ago, but recovered and maintained her relative health until spring 2010. She developed a fever and vomiting, and the nursing home staff were unable to handle the combination needs of stabilization while maintaining pain management. We met with Jason and his level of compassion, attention to detail, and follow-through convinced us to sign up with Hospice Advantage. He immediately reviewed and recommended changes in treatment which had a dramatic positive effect. He was on site regularly, and communicated often with my sisters and me. HA handled the paperwork between the nursing home and Medicaid wonderfully, so there was no extra administrative burden. Mom passed away in June 2010. I'm convinced she had the best care possible in her final months.
