My dear husband passed 2 months ago at this facility. I cannot say enough about the kind and loving staff. The dignity and level of care my husband was shown was remarkable. They treated our whole family that way. He was always clean and his meals were outstanding. And they adjusted his meds to make him comfortable until the end.

My mother went into the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson. Our experience there was exceptional, but obviously, there's a cost. Care is normally covered, but the room is not. The cost was about $2000 a week, which was fine, but the care was exceptional. We were able to have our family in the room 24/7, and they did an exceptional job taking care of her. The facility was top-notch, clean, and welcoming. Everything we dealt with was positive. The staff was very patient, answered as many questions as they could, were always available 24/7, and we did not have any issues with any of them. They took a great deal of care in making sure the family had what they needed. They provided us with food and stuff, but not meals. Mom did not eat very much after she got in there, but the food was fine. The place was spotless. There was no odor in the whole place, even with all the other patients there and everything. It was beyond what I could believe.

My mother was in Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home once for respite and the last two weeks that she was with us. That place was unbelievable. Two years later, I was still seeing nurses from at the grocery store, and they remembered my mom and they about my dad. They took such good care of her and I had absolutely no complaints. Everything was top notch. I would live there if they would let me. It was a beautiful place. The nurses, the caretakers, and everyone were fantastic with family. When Mom passed away, they cleaned her up and had her on the bed with a rose on her chest. My family started coming in, they said, “Take your time. Be with her as long as you need. We will take care of everything when you were good.” It was the best experience I could imagine for that situation.
