We have been using HomeJoy of MidMichigan for about 3 weeks now. Everything went great. When we first called them and set up the appointment, we had time constraints to deal with between appointments and everything else, so they made an after-hours appointment to come over and visit to meet with us. They provided us with everything that we were looking for. They were really good about making sure that they matched the person to us and also allowed us to meet them before them coming over to assist, which was great and comforting. Everything has been great so far. They've been polite. We haven't had any scheduling conflicts so far. They are helping with meal prep. They are doing a little bit of light housekeeping, doing some laundry, and making sure the ileostomy bag is changed. They are even talking and playing card games with my father-in-law. They make sure he's able to shower and if he needs any assistance. They come for about 2 hours a day, and it's usually 2 to 3 times a week, depending on my mother-in-law when she needs assistance. They have a minimum of 2 hours, and then anything 3 hours and above, they gave us pricing. And what was nice was that the pricing was for the whole household, which was amazing.
