We used Preferred Providers for about a year. I was in the hospital, and when I got out, I needed some extra help, and since we had already used them a couple of years before, we called them. It was eventually for my wife as well. For me, they sent very helpful aides, but for my wife, not so. She complained that they sent us untrained aides, which she really found very difficult. There was kind of unprofessionalism in the billing procedure. The format of their invoice made it impossible to track who came on a certain day, and they sent duplicate invoices which is a definite no-no because we couldn't tell whether we had paid or not. The billing was obscure, listing just the dates but not the names of the provider. Scheduling was very difficult for them. It was very hard to rely on what they said they were going to do. They never left us without somebody, but it seemed like they weren't quite ready for public provision. And basing it on my wife's experience, I would not recommend them.

Great company! We used them because they were one of the only ones that took our insurance. Would definately accept their care again! Wonderful people.
