I have Visiting Angels for my wife. They offer a lot of services. They get her up, clean up, they help her with bathing, they help her with fixing her food, they help with cooking dinner, and they keep the immediate area around her clean. They also wash dishes. However, their office is incompetent because they change people frequently. As for the caregivers, there are some good ones and bad ones. I got rid of the bad ones.

We had a guy from Visiting Angels, who was helping us, and he basically just sat there and didn’t quite engage my mother. He didn’t really help with the household chores or anything else in the house, and all he did was to sit back. The times when my mom wants to go out or becomes aggressive, then he would get up and do something, but most of the time he was just sitting there. The service was OK, but it could have been better. The management itself was very good -- very good communication, scheduling, and billing. I only have good things to say about the agency. It’s just the help that they sent to us.

My husband and I have decided to keep his mother at home in Maryland with Visiting Angels. We love them. We have been very fortunate with the companion that we selected, although my mother-in-law doesn't like when she can't make it, and they have to send a substitute. She has Alzheimer's. We like them a lot, and we're very happy with them.

I can not begin to thank Visiting Angels enough. From the office staff to our "angels", this company has been such a life saver for both my mom and, surprisingly, me. We had been extremely overwhelmed since her diagnosis and are relieved knowing she's getting such great care from caregivers that are so warm-hearted and dedicated. The organization and commitment from the office is so reassuring too. It's given me and my husband the opportunity to regain some normalcy in my everyday life. Mom is thriving day by day, we are thrilled!!

Visiting Angels took great care of my 90 year old mother. The caregivers we had were very sweet and attentive to her every need . I'm not sure what we would have done without Visiting Angels and my family will be forever grateful for them giving us the peace of mind that we had hoped for.

Unreliable service. Had 12 hour shifts not filled for my father who is dependent for all care. There was also a certified nursing assistant that did not even know how to empty a catheter bag.

These people really care about their customers! The Visiting Angels provided wonderful companionship over the years to my 96 1/2 year old mother. Visiting Angels was my mom's trusted companion and was with her so that when she passed, she was not alone. Thank you for providing a much needed service.

It's a hit or miss with the aids while you may get a good one at first if you try to change the times its a run around trying to get a stable aid again after 3 weeks of juggling aids that didn't speak much english and having to re-train them I would avoid this company until they understand that there customers need to establish a bond with the caregivers and not make them unsure of the care because there is no consistency. My grandfather was very upset with the varying service as he depends on these people while im at work.
