They struggle to provide a caregiver on short notice request. However, most caregivers sent out do a fine job. The office staff often fill in when there is an open shift, if they are available.

We've used Right at Home for three or four years, and we're still having trouble with them and don't have good matches for caregivers. Our mother is 101, but even she says it's time for a change. They have not been a good agency, and we have not had competent caregiving. One of their duties is to cook three meals a day at least and to leave out some kind of a healthy snack since she is on a salt-restricted diet because she has congestive heart failure. My sister and I just came in to find out that her water level is up, they've been giving her cereal for lunch, popcorn for dinner, and the physical therapist confirmed that they were giving her cheese crackers and liverwurst for lunch and dinner, too, until that ran out and they bought bologna, none of which is on a salt-restricted diet. We have the food to feed her and cook for her, but they don't do it. We have left cards so they can go to the grocery and get items if they run out, but they get bologna because they ran out of the liverwurst but none of that was provided by us for her diet. They're one of the most expensive home caregiving places in the area, and they just raised the rate $3 an hour. The reason they did that is because they provide 24-hour day monitoring and they said they'd call within 10 to 15 minutes to check if the person showed up, but they never do, never once.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. They were always professional. Barbara was always professional. Barbara was so very easy to work with as well. She and many of the sitters went above and beyond the call of duty. Barbara came over in the night several time to ensure my mother is ok. Words cannot express my total satisfaction.

I would and have already recommended this agency. Working with Tracy was such a pleasure! We had a rocky start due to the sitter but Tracey did everything on her power to correct the situation. The remaining 2 sitters were wonderful! Super people to deal with!
