"My family received a consultation visit from the owner. We explained all of my brother's needs and health issues, specifically, his incontinence and HIV. The owner left never stating that my brother's needs could not be met or that his infection was a problem. The next day, I contacted the agency stating we wanted to use their service and the office manager said she would mail contracts to sign. At the end of the week we had not received the contract so I called the owner. The owner told me he left several messages for me explaining they could not provide the level of care we needed, specifically dealing with incontinence. I never received such messsges. The owner should have been upfront during the Monday consultation and therefore, my family could have been pursuing other avenues of care instead of wasting time waiting to hear from Home Instead. Very disappointed."

"Service gets my Mom up & going every day. Make sure she is safely showered & dressed. They make breakfast and they prepare for lunch. & clean the bathroom everyday & make her bed. They clean the litter boxes everyday for two cats. They straighten up whatever needs to be done, done, make the beds or change the sheets. They usually run a load of laundry if needed. They clean the kitchen. there's usually time to start a project of there's a time to start a project up straightening out another area that needs to be done. The staff arrives on time. My interactions with the caregivers have been wonderful. I have found the agency very good to work with. They have been responsive to my requests, and very good at working with and passing on my mother's needs."

"We've used Nascentia for my mom many times, they were very good, and we are very pleased with that group. We were using subservices right up until my mom went into the hospital at the end of February. We have a good experience with them. I just talked to somebody from them the other day. We are currently using housekeeping services, but with my mom being away, first in the hospital, and now in rehab, we hadn't had anybody in while she's been away from the apartment. I think the main thing that stands out is that they do seem to care. They are not just strangers who wanders in and says I'm gonna clean your house, or I'm gonna give you occupational therapy. They just really seem to be nice people, and good with what they do. We've just been really happy with them. We get a nurse who does the initial assessment and comes in every 6 weeks or so to do a recheck, and they are fine too. It's the everyday people like the therapists and housekeepers are the most outstanding. Sometimes the scheduling gets changed, or they might not always catch up with everything, but I would say 90 percent of the time its fine."
