"We did visit and the place seemed OK. We had a good tour around the place, and I was happy with the presentation. The staff treated us very well. We saw their rooms, and they looked very good as far as I could tell. "

"Park Terrace at Radisson was very nice. I like the facility itself. The only big drawback was that the memory care section was very small, and they did not have any outside area for the residents to go outside and sit because of Radisson's rules about fences. So obviously, memory care has to be secure. That was my drawback there. The staff who gave the tour was very nice though. They have activities, but I didn't see any at the time. I went during lunchtime, and the residents were eating."

"We toured Peregrine Senior Living at Onondaga Hill. I love the place. It was very nice. It was decorated nicely. There were people all around. It was busy. The staff was extremely friendly. We just saw the model room. It was very roomy. It had a bigger shower than what she had. They have this little shop where people donate things and the people can shop there, like if they need something, they'll go in there and just grab it."

"We went to Brookdale Fayetteville. It was a good experience all the way around. They met with us for a sustained period of time. They answered all our questions. They gave us a tour. They were very congenial. I stopped over before the family went up. I stopped over the night before and they gave me a personal tour. I went through a litany of items and they checked off everything from under advanced care, making sure that they take their pills, doctors coming in, and an emergency button. I looked at the menus, and they were very good. There's nothing that I didn't like about it. It came out to a little bit over $12,000 a month with a down payment. Syracuse was just too expensive for my father. I went through the list of activities. They had a memorial for veterans. We were there for a really quick time. We had a great discussion. We sat down around the table, my cousin, my stepmother and her daughter, my father, and my cousin's wife. They answered every question we had. We were very pleased with what we came back with. We conferred, but it was just the cash. Everything else I liked about it. They also had a group, when we were leaving, going together for one of the activities. I saw about eight people there. They had a nice garden. It was small, but a garden to enjoy the nice days out or just a walk along the stone slabs if they could. The staff was very amicable and very helpful. I was looking at the menu and everything that I could see looked very high standard. They also met dietary needs. The place was in good condition, and they were remodeling a couple of things or just beginning to remodel a couple of the rooms. I think that they're trying to keep up-to-date. They did have an elevator for the second floor."

"Overall, the facility was excellent. The entranceway was welcoming and well-kept, with friendly staff waiting to help guide you through the facility. The lobby was well-decorated and didn't feel like a hospital; it felt more like a hotel. The nurse who was with us was also the nurse who was caring for my great-grandmother, and she was pleasant and friendly. There were a few staff members that seemed to be less pleasant, but we did not have a direct experience with them. The rooms were simply furnished and were a little dull. There wasn't a lot of room for personal belongings. However, they did feel nicer than something like a hospital room. Out of curiosity, we tried some of the food and found it to be surprisingly good. We looked into some of the services and facilities provided and found that were plenty of additional amenities for those able to take advantage of them, such as an entertainment room with various activities, and a swimming pool. The only major negative of the facility is that the care staff seemed to have a slow response time, though that could have been due to understaffing. "

"I found this to be a clean and lovely facility. The staff were very helpful and caring. The dining room was elegant and the food was outstanding. The only reason this facility did not receive five stars, residents had to hire outside caregivers from an agency. "
