I have my mother (wheelchair and bedside commode usuage) and my father (Dementia) living with my husband and I since April 2011. I contacted Senior Helpers upon my mother's release from the hospital last year, and their representative came to my home and worked out our schedule very quickly, and accomodated what we needed. Everyone has been great, during some very ill times. The ladies have been a great help to me, they fix meals, offer to do light housework if needed, and have worked with both parents during their illnesses when extra special care attention has been need for personal care, they are great for companionship (parents need a new face once in a while to talk to also), and our 2 house dogs were also welcomed and taken care of by the ladies when at the house. "Visiting Angels has provided us with in home care both on a regular basis and for emergency, short notice care. Their office staff has been easy to approach, and their in home staff has been wonderful, caring people I really feel comfortable leaving my 90 year old grandmother with. I also like the way they check in monthly to make sure our regular care staff is working out well. I could wish that their standard billing forms were a little more clear and helped me keep things sorted better, but they've always been willing to find me the answers I've needed when I've called or stopped in the office.
