I have been able to find and secure in-home care from Comfort Keepers, so nurses have been coming in 24 hours 7 days a week. I’ve been using them for about a month now. I’m satisfied with them. The nursing staff have been very nice and very caring to my mother. They help her around the house. The agency itself has been doing the best that they can in filling in people like when certain folks call off or are unable to make it. They do a pretty good job of letting me know what goes on in case there aren’t any folks to cover certain shifts. They offer general custodial care like feeding and helping with some activities around the house. I saw different folks that come in but they’re all generally helpful. They’re all very nice people.

My social worker told me about Circle of Life in Peoria. Their care is very good. I have not been with them very long so we’re still getting acquainted. You have to look at them for their vantage point for the patient and they are patient oriented. And I know the one taking care of me now will fall through if the need comes up. The manager is wonderful and that’s very important, that they listen to your needs. If a change needs to be made, they don’t drill you or give you a hard time. They accept you with a lot of respect and they’re very kind. That’s my experience with them so far and I’ve only been with them a couple of months. I would recommend this to everyone.
