Unfortunately, the caregivers did not live up to the expectation that Sandy set. The first two were really disappointing in that they did not show much initiative. We never found a rhythm, but I have every reason to believe we would have been able to find a regular caregiver. The first two caregivers did not show initiative. One spent most of the morning on her telephone when my elderly dad was having some cognitive difficulties. He needed to be engaged. They were able to do some of the physical caregiving for my dad that my mother could not do.

The very first conversation I had with the owner was at a very stressful time for me trying to find care for my mom. The owner was very warm, caring, and super helpful. My mom has been able to do things that she wouldn't be able to do otherwise, such as bathe and other daily functions. There was only so much that I could do because I have a young baby, so I feel comfortable knowing that someone is there for my mom and that that she is being properly taken care of. I know that she has some help and her needs are taken care of. That sets my mind at ease.
