I am writing this letter to let your agency know that the aide that was sent to me, Mrs. Alexander, who has been with me for 7 months was exceptional in many ways. I have had the need for aides for both my wife and myself. I found her to be helpful, comforting and very caring. She has made my recovery from surgery seem to fly. My experience with FirstLight was not very good. They had a nice lady come out and interview me, and she told me that she was going to have somebody who would come by four days a week and then maybe another person for three days a week, so that my wife and I can get to know this person. I also made out a list, and they were very detailed on what was to be done. The first lady knew what she was doing, was very helpful, and followed the list. Then they sent out a new person who did not know anything, which means I did all the chores. The third person pretended she didn’t know how to work, so I had to do all the chores again. They sent another person and then my wife died, so it was not very good.
